A DIVISION OF CQTAFRICA

MarsecAfrica delivers specialised maritime security services for yacht owners, captains, and managers while alongside or at anchor in port. Built with international maritime security operational pedigree, we combine operational discipline, criminology-informed risk methods, and local liaison capability to help you prevent incidents, respond decisively, and protect people, vessels, and reputations.

What We Do

The core of our business is Security Advisory & Port-Side Security Logistics

We plan, coordinate, and supervise the security measures required during port calls. Our teams assess the threat environment, design practical controls, and execute the logistics to implement them—always aligned to port rules, local law, and the ISPS Code framework as applicable.

Incident Reporting & Assistance via our security app.

Through our App, owners or yacht masters can log suspicious activity, theft, harassment, fraud attempts, or safety concerns in real time. We acknowledge the report, triage severity, and:

  • Liaise with authorities (port security, marina management, maritime police, coast guard, immigration/customs)

  • Coordinate actions (e.g. berthing security control consultation, incident depositions, insurance-grade incident reports)

  • Advise the master/owner on proportionate steps in case of an incident, evidence preservation, and crew/passenger safeguarding advice.

  • Manage follow-through until closure or formal handover to designated stakeholders
